The United Methodist Student Day Offering, taken November 27, 2016, feeds students in body, mind and spirit so they can strive for academic excellence.
Providing financial scholarships shows students the church cares about them and will join with them on their faith journeys.
Gifts to the offering help United Methodist students to meet the rising costs of a college education. Recipients of scholarships attend United Methodist and other accredited colleges and universities.
Each year dollars given to these scholarships come back to students in the Detroit and West Michigan conferences.
