Cabinet

The Appointive Cabinet

Each year in The United Methodist Church,  pastors are appointed to local churches by our Bishop.  The Bishop makes these decisions in consultation with the Clergy Assistant to the Bishop and the Appointive Cabinet. The Cabinet is comprised of 7 district superintendents who also serve as the Missional Director for each of the 7 districts and the Special Assistant to the Bishop in Congregational Development.

The Full Cabinet

The Full Cabinet meets regularly to connect the Conference Directors, Conference Lay Leaders with the Appointive Cabinet.  This group includes the Director of Connectional Ministry, Director of Communications, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Benefits Services.

The Coordinating Cabinet

The Coordinating Cabinet consists of the Bishop, Clergy Assistant to the Bishop/Director of Connectional Ministry, Director of Communications, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Benefits Services. In addition, the Lay Leader, Associated Directors and staff join the meetings as necessary to plan and implement conference initiatives.
