The Cabinet and the Board of Justice, leaders in The Michigan Conference, offer witness and resources to help local churches prepare for persistent antiracist action in communities across the state.
The 2020 General and Jurisdictional conferences were postponed because of COVID-19. New 2021 dates were announced on May 26 along with a leadership plan for the NCJ.
The tentative dates for the next General Conference are August 31-September 10, 2021. Once official, other significant meetings will be also be fixed on the calendar.
On April 6 the announcement was made that all U.S. Jurisdictional Conferences for 2020 are postponed. The Council of Bishops will reschedule in the near future.
