Pastor Lisa Kipp gives tips on how to do special fundraising for mission in a recent edition of “Leading Ideas” published by the Lewis Center for Church Leadership.
She observes, “People love to hear stories about how their giving makes a tangible difference in the world.” She uses these approaches to increased generosity:
- Focus
- Lots of storytelling
- Saying ‘Thank You’
She concludes: “Perhaps by rethinking how your church supports mission partners, you too might find success in engaging stewards both financially and with their hands and feet to make a real difference in the world in the name of Jesus.”
