These United Methodist churches in The Michigan Conference are offering online worship on Sunday or devotional experiences during the week.
Some with practiced skill and others with fear and trembling ... pastors and volunteers in Michigan United Methodist churches have stepped up to the worship plate on short notice. They learned fast and they fed the spirits of their congregations these past two Sundays of no in-person church across the conference. One pastor said of his Facebook Live presentation, "Sorry it's sideways. Just listen." Another preached to the camera under the heading, "Much grace, please! We are not techy!" Where techy leaves off, determination, bravery, and the Holy Spirit take over. Thank you, faithful e-shepherds of the flocks who need hope and inspiration so much in these stressful days.
