A must-attend workshop for all those appointed or assigned to local church or extension ministries in The Michigan Area.
Online registration is now underway for the Healthy Boundaries training. This is a new, day-long training on healthy boundaries and clergy sexual ethics that is required of ALL appointed Elders, Deacons, Local Pastors, and assigned Certified Lay Ministers and DSAs serving in The Michigan Area, as well as, any retired clergy who may wish to serve under appointment.
There are several training dates to choose from, be sure to register for just one. Each training is identical in content.
- Thursday, Oct. 20 at Cadillac UMC, Cadillac
- Friday, Oct. 21 at Engadine UMC, Engadine
- Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Saline First UMC, Saline
- Friday, Oct. 28 at Birmingham First UMC, Birmingham
Registration Fee is $35 (includes lunch). There are two payment options:
1) mail your check, payable to: MI Area UMC to United Methodist Ministry Center, Attn: Kristen, 1011 Northcrest Road, Lansing MI 48906;
2) pay online through the WMC PayPal.
