Four friends send greetings

One of our episcopal friends Deborah Lieder Kiesey

Many remember these familiar faces. They are former bishops and friends of the Michigan Area. They offer greetings at the beginning of this new year.

Bishop David Bard has invited clergy of the Michigan Conference to a time for refreshment on January 12. Describing the experience, he noted, “Come to the Well is a morning gathering for renewal. It will include times of reflection, scripture, music, and messages from Bishops Lee, Ott, Kiesey, and Keaton.

Those bishops are all friends of The Michigan Area, having served here in the past: Bishop Donald Ott (1992-2000), Bishop Linda Lee (2000-2004), Bishop Jonathan Keaton (2004-2012), and Bishop Deborah Lieder Kiesey (2012-2016).

As preparations were made for Come to the Well,  the bishops’ personal greetings were also recorded and are shared here. Click the bishop’s name to view the short videos.
