The General Commission on Race and Religion of The United Methodist Church (GCORR) presents Vital Conversations 2.
These online conversations feature thought leaders, pastors, theologians, activists, authors, and scholars from outside of the United States. They share their stories, insights, and expertise on issues related to faith, culture, and fighting oppression in the church and world today.
This week’s conversation is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, March 31 at 3:00 pm ET. The guest, Samantha Mukanganise, will explore the topic, “Why the church should be concerned with sexual and reproductive health in Africa.”
Samantha is a graduate of Africa University. She is a vibrant young woman passionate about changing the maternal and child health realities of African women. She recently started working on a research project on maternal and child health needs in Zimbabwean United Methodist Church institutions with United Methodist Women.
