Bertha “Bertie” Mae Wood-Lozier, 100, died March 4, 2016. She was predeceased by a first husband of 56 years, Pastor Joseph Wood, and her second husband of 15 years, Earl Lozier.
Her first husband, Pastor Joseph Wood, served in the following appointments in the West Michigan Conference: Transferred from Pittsburgh Conf., Leslie 1959; Jackson Brookside 1962; Cassopolis 1966; Watervliet 1975. Retired 1978.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leslie, MI. An additional memorial service honoring Bertie’s life was held the same day at 2:30pm at Great Lakes Christian Home in Holt.
