Amy L. Putnam, age 81, died on Friday, March 31, 2017. She was born June 23, 1935, in South Haven, Michigan. Amy married Leonard Putnam who preceded her in death. Rev. Putnam served in the following Michigan appointments: Marcellus (EUB) 1949; Galien (EUB) 1951; Royalton Circuit (EUB) 1952; Ogden (EUB) 1955; East Detroit (EUB) 1957; Niles (EUB) 1964; Grand Rapids Northlawn 1969; Sodus Chapel Hill 1973; Nashville 1975; retired 1984; part-time Rockford 1984.
Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe Street NE, Rockford, MI 49341. The funeral service for Amy will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Clark Retirement Community Chapel, 1551 Franklin St. SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49506. Pastor Bruce Wilson will be presiding. There will also be a one hour visitation prior to the service.
