Ministry ideas need nurturing to grow

Hands holding seedlings

Three Seed to Harvest Ministry Incubation events launch in February. Sign up for all three, and you’ll be eligible for a mini-grant to bring your idea to fruition.

We often feel isolated when launching a new ministry or unsure of next steps when retooling a current ministry to be more fruitful. The good news is that we don’t have to go it alone!

The Michigan Conference will host three Seed to Harvest Ministry Incubation events this winter and spring. Trained facilitators will offer multiple entry points to meet participants wherever they are planting a new idea or revamping an existing one. The Seed to Harvest Incubation Team is excited to work with individuals and small teams with a passion project, a new ministry idea, or a need to adapt an existing program.

If you sign up for all three, you’ll be eligible for a mini-grant to support your idea. For more information or to ask questions, contact Lisa Batten, member of the Connectional Ministries Team, at lbatten@michiganumc.org.
