Online Bible study begins in two weeks

A four-week small group study on how diversity and inclusion intersect with our faith journey begins in early February. Daytime and evening options are available for laity and pastors to join.

In a polarized world, where we are often told who is not included, the gospel invites us to consider how all persons are created in God’s image and part of the Beloved Community.

To support those who want to respond to today’s challenges, the Michigan Conference Connectional Ministries Team and facilitators will offer a four-week Bible study via Zoom focused on Embracing God’s Call, a new resource produced by the General Commission on Religion and Race. United Methodists all over Michigan will meet to learn how diversity, equity, and inclusion intersect with our faith journey.

Beginning February 4, classes will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Choose the day and time that works best for you. Click the button below to view the full class schedule and register.

The cost for all four sessions is $10 per person, with a sliding scale available. Pay what you can, if you can, when you can — don’t let resources hinder your participation. Do you have extra resources? Pay $20 to cover yourself and another participant. Want to sign up for a group? The cost for four or more participants is discounted at $25.

Sign up for this unique opportunity to study with others and begin to live into the dream of Beloved Community envisioned by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
