Joshua transformed the world

As summer ended, Joshua Nystrom and his dad, Rev. Rob Nystrom (Ovid United Church) rode from Lansing to Mackinaw City to support Clean Water for Haiti. The contributions have been counted and the grand total is $2,222.00. One Hundred percent of that total will purchase water filters.

The Nystrom family says, “Thank you all for your monetary contributions, your prayers, and your interest. The ride was a sweet personal achievement for Joshua, and it was made even sweeter by the effort to improve the lives of our brothers and sisters in Haiti.”

The Michigan Area Haiti Task Force will now take the next steps to take the funds, purchase and install the filters. Depending on size and model, these filters range in price from $20 to $50.
