Rae Louise Franke (January 21, 1942 – April 24, 2015) Age 73, died Friday, April 24, 2015. Rae was an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church and served many families over the years at Trinity United Methodist Church. Her service to families in the area extended beyond the church as she held services at local nursing homes for the elderly, visited Chosen Vision and lead grief and bereavement classes for people that had lost a loved one. She also presided over all family members’ weddings. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Chuck, their children, and grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held, Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 5:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 3827 Delta River Dr., Lansing, MI with Pastor Lori Sykes officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church (First Feeding Neighbors), American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Rae.
