Adrian panel discusses Flint water

A panel discussion “What Can We Learn from the Flint Water Crisis” was held April 16 at Adrian College.

Flint pastors, Rev. Faith Green Timmons and Rev. Tommy McDoniel, participated in speaking on the topic, “Rights, Risks and Responsibilities.”

They are involved in The United Methodist emergency water relief efforts in the city.

Adrian Mayor Jim Berryman also sat on the panel. He grew up in Flint and still has family members who reside there. He said the Flint issue may be just the “tip of the iceberg” as far as aging infrastructure is concerned around the country and the problems it could bring.
