Through God’s eyes

"Sometimes when we take a picture we can reflect back on a moment and see God at work," says Jenny Reilly. Experiences like this are shared on the new "Christians Engaged in Faith Formation" website at cefumc.org. "There is so much more to this peaceful picture than meets the eye," Reilly concludes.

For many years this organization has gone by the familiar name, “Christian Educators Fellowship.” Leaders across Michigan have had their awareness raised and soul inspired at CEF Conferences.

Re-launched as “Christians Engaged in Faith Formation,” CEF describes itself this way: an association of United Methodists and persons from other denominations who have responsibility for Christian education or faith formation in any of its diverse forms, in and beyond the local church.

Their stated mission: To develop leaders in faith formation to equip people of all ages to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Their website cefumc.org offers resources, networking and inspirational messages like this one, “Through God’s Eyes,” shared by Jenny Reilly, a CEF National Board Member and Director of Christian Education for Salem United Methodist Church in Denver, NC.
