Children’s Ministry
Foundations Cohort for Children’s Ministry Leaders
Designed for leaders who want to build connections with other leaders across Michigan and learn or refresh on basics of Children’s Ministry. This cohort will feature a balance of guest presenters on various relevant topics and learning and working together.
2nd Tuesday of the month from 9:30am – 11:30am
$200
Includes 9 meetings (on Zoom or hybrid), 2-3 books related to the topics, summer faith formation leader event, and more.

Seasoned Leaders Cohort
Designed for experienced leaders who are looking to grow in their knowledge of ministry and build connection with other leaders. The cohort will feature guest presenters on various relevant topics, idea incubation process and systems with opportunities to share ideas and provide support and feedback, and time for building connection and sharing ideas.
4th Thursday of the month from 9:30am – 11:30am
$200
Includes 9 meetings (on Zoom or hybrid), 2-3 books related to the topics, summer faith formation leader event, and more.

Faith Formation Cohort
Designed for part-time and unpaid faith formation leaders for all ages, especially for small churches. The cohort will feature guest presenters on various relevant topics and creating connections for shared ministry among leaders across Michigan.
2nd Thursday of the month from 7:30-9:00pm
$50
Includes 8 meetings (on Zoom), 1 book

Lay people can apply for a grant from the Michigan Conference Board of Laity. The deadline to apply is October 1, 2022. You can use the “Leadership Training Registration Fee” option for the primary focus question. If you do not qualify for or receive a grant from the Board of Laity, scholarships are available.
