Cycles of ministry

Every ministry has a lifespan. If old programs don’t die, there’s no resurrection of new ministries.
According to pastor and author Graham Standish, when a church forces dying ministries to stay alive, it prevents new ministries from being resurrected from the death of the old.

He encourages churches to live by the wisdom found in Ecclesiastes—“For everything there is a season”–in order to stimulate creativity.
