Weaving for neighbors

What Michigan United Methodist is using his grandfather’s loom to raise money to feed the hungry and clothe the neighbor?

United Methodists in Michigan and around the Connection know the Rev Jack Harnish as a fine preacher, pastor, leader and writer.

And now his Church Family learns that he is also a weaver.

Northern Michigan’s 9 & 10 News tells the story of Jack’s exploits at an heritage loom. He is weaving rag rugs for Benzie Area Christian Neighbors.

“It is important to meet the needs of our neighbors, those around us,” he tells the reporter.
