The most basic definition of the Enneagram is as a system to understand yourself on a deeper level, develop compassion for others, grow personally and grow spiritually.
Join a clergy/lay duo on an 8-week guided trip through “The Enneagram Journey.” This curriculum by noted Master Enneagram teacher, Suzanne Stabile, is a thorough and accessible introduction to the 9 types of the Enneagram. It helps in understanding your own type which opens a pathway to growth and a deeper faith.
This year there are two options depending the time of day that works best for you! Choose from either/or:
- Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8:30 PM EST - Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
- Wednesday afternoons from Noon to 2:30 PM EST - Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16, 30
The course will meet through Zoom video conferencing. Participants will view the video teaching content independently and then meet together for discussion and additional teaching. The cost is $40 which includes video access and a participant workbook.

‘Come and See’ Intro Session - Interested and not sure certain? Join the Come and See Zoom Session on Tuesday, September 20 from 4 to 5 PM EST. We understand that this is a big commitment of time and energy! This is an opportunity to meet the facilitators, hear about the structure, materials, and time requirements, and ask any questions.

Janet Wilson is a Licensed Local Pastor, currently serving Chapel Hill and Christ United Methodist Churches in Battle Creek. She was introduced to the Enneagram by her young-adult children over 15 years ago, found her place as a Type One, and has been on an adventure of learning, utilizing, and teaching the Enneagram since then. She finds it to be a powerful tool of personal, emotional, spiritual, and leadership growth.
Laura Witkowski is the Associate Director for Lay Leadership Development of the Michigan Conference of The UMC. She was introduced to the Enneagram by a colleague in ministry years ago and has used it as a leadership development tool ever since. The Enneagram has helped her lead and work more effectively with others and deepen her relationship with the Holy One.
