Time for engagement around General Conference. Meet with the West Michigan Delegation on April 9 and the Detroit Delegation on April 22.
Michigan’s delegates are preparing for decision making and holy conferencing in Portland May 10-20, 2016. With the session less than six weeks away, they invite clergy and laity to ask questions and express opinions.
WEST MICHIGAN CONFERENCE
The delegation will meet on Saturday, April 9 at University United Methodist Church in East Lansing. The afternoon is planned as a time of listening. West Michigan organizations that wish to be in conversation with the delegation should contact Delegation Chair Nichea Ver Veer Guy at [email protected]. DETROIT CONFERENCE
On Friday, April 22 Birmingham 1st will host an area-wide informational forum, “Get-Engaged.” A panel consisting of Detroit Conference delegates to General Conference will present challenges, issues and possible outcomes of the General Conference.
