The Michigan Conference has instituted a new policy and training is mandatory.
The new Michigan Conference of The United Methodist Church has instituted a new Protection Policy. Effective January 1, 2018 all previously obtained certification through the West Michigan and Detroit Conferences has expired.
This training is REQUIRED for all leaders/churches attending or hosting District or Conference events where youth, children and/or vulnerable adults will be served.

- Saturday, February 17, Wesley CMU, 1400 S. Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858, 10:00am-noon, lunch provided
- Saturday, February 24, Mosaic Church, 1249 3 Mile Road South, Traverse City, MI 49696, 10am-2pm, lunch provided
