January 9, 1955 – March 30, 2023
Wife of Rev. Daniel L. Gonder, Pamela S. Gonder with peace and comfort went into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 30, 2023. Pam was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 9, 1955. She married Daniel Gonder on August 11, 1973 and together they raised three children, Julie Phipps (Jack), Michelle Jordan (Gabriel), and David Gonder (Rita). Pam was also very proud of the lives and accomplishments of her grandchildren, Shelby, Shae, Zackary, Jayden, and Kyler. Pam received an associate degree in accounting from Delta College, she then worked in that profession, as well as retail, and office management.
Together Pam and Dan served four congregations in ministry. Throughout her many years of working in the church, Pam served as a Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, Bible study leader, and in mission work. Pam enjoyed crafts, reading, gardening, computer games, and the comforts of her home. Pam will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. We can take comfort in the fact that she now rests in the arms of her Heavenly Father.
