Michigan Conference Annual Celebration in Clio October 17-18, 2025. Why is It so important? Because Sally Vonner, current General Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of United Women in Faith, will be our Keynote Speaker. Sally oversees the implementation of the organization’s vision, mission and strategic plan to positively impact the lives of women, children and youth around the world. Her message on October 18, 2025 is entitled “Embracing New Challenges”. Plus the night before, October 17,2025 Jacob Stone and Pastor Audra Hudson Stone, co-conveners of the Environmental Justice Taskforce of the Michigan UMC, will share a comprehensive introduction to the issues. Their presentation “Environmental Justice: A Call to Hope & Action” will include information on the realities of environmental injustice, a Biblical framework for creation care and suggestions for prophetic action.
