November 5, 1953 — June 14, 2025

Colon “Coley” Robert Brown, age 71, passed away on June 14, 2025 at his home in Grand Blanc, MI. A Memorial Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday, June 27, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc.

Coley attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and went on to earn a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL. He served at

He is survived by his wife Lisa Brown, children Nikki Knapp (Donnie), Troy Brown (Elizabeth), Jon Brown, sister Bonnie Holt (Brett), Lisa’s children Heidi Kiacz (Jeremy Strickland), Katie Kiacz (Edwin Dean), Simon Kiacz, and Carl Kiacz. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren Audrey, Ben, Colin, Cameron, Evie, Viktor, Athena, and Lillian. He is also survived by former wives Cindy and Lori, former daughter-in-law Samantha Brown, son-in-law Scot Morgan, close friends Roger and Gayle Heuser and Rachel Heuser.

Coley was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Marylin Brown.

Coley faced numerous physical challenges throughout the years. He proved to be a resilient and strong patient, giving the people who loved him bonus years to enjoy his humor and loving spirit. He will be remembered for his “life lessons”, passion for life, strength, and laughter.

Coley’s family is proud to share that he is a Gift of Life donor.

In lieu of flowers, Coley’s family respectfully suggests donations in memory of Coley Brown may be made to the American Stroke Association or the ACLU.
