Learning From One Another

Children

In January 2020, seventeen children's ministry/discipleship leaders attended the Children's Pastors Conference in Orlando, Florida. We worshiped, prayed, learned, networked, and played together. Over the next few weeks, reflections from those who attended the conference will be posted on the website. Many of the reflections are from workshops including "Kid-Mining Like Fred Rogers" or "Praying in a New Way: Praying in Color for Kids" or working with volunteers, trauma-informed ministry, and so much more. New reflections will be posted weekly.

Vacation Bible School and Summer Events for Kids/Families are significant ways that churches can make positive impacts on children and their communities. As leaders, we can learn from one another by sharing ideas, best practices, resources, what has worked and what has not. Gathering together is one way we can do this. We also live in a time when what has worked in the past, doesn't necessarily work now. We are offering two on-site Workshops to highlight VBS - both traditional and "outside the box" ministries. Learn more and register for the Workshop here.
