The 2017 Michigan Annual Conference will convene at the Grand Traverse Resort on June 1, 2017. The event promises four days of inspiring worship, significant learning, great fellowship and important decision-making.
Gather UP is the theme for this new venue full of new relationships and the votes to shape a new Annual Conference. That’s lots of “new” and the lead teacher for AC 2017, Rev. Susan Beaumont will help navigate the present changes and changes that lie ahead. Beaumont is a former Senior Consultant with the Alban Institute. Teaching sessions will focus on leadership that will nurture the soul of the newly formed Michigan Area Annual Conference even as it nurtures the soul of every congregation in Michigan.
