Phyllis Lee Niswender, 90, of Winona Lake, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Grace Village Nursing Home. Phyllis was the wife of Retired Elder, R. Ivan Niswender.
Phyllis was born to Clifford and Ann Latham on October 4, 1933, in Cory, Indiana. On June 2, 1956, she married R. Ivan Niswender at a Methodist Church in Cory, Indiana.
She worked as a secretary for a medical care facility in Allegan, MI, and was also a homemaker. Phyllis enjoyed sewing, crochet, and knitting and loved to teach Sunday school.
Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ivan Niswender of Winona Lake, Indiana as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her son Thomas Niswender and her daughter Kathryn Niswender as well as one sister, Kay Seymour, and two brothers, Don and Joe Latham.
A celebration of Phyllis’ life,was held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Grace Village Chapel in Winona Lake, Indiana.
