David W. Scott, Director of Mission Theology for the General Board of Global Ministries has analyzed locations of world Methodist denominations in his recent post in UM & Global.
He explains, “As a research aid and an aid to thinking about the shape of the global Wesleyan/Methodist movement, I have compiled maps indicating the presence of member denominations of the World Methodist Council, the ecumenical body bringing together over 70 Methodist, Wesleyan, and related United/Uniting denominations.”
Scott goes on to share conclusions from the mapping effort, including comments about the vitality of faith in various regions.
