Linda D. Haase

January 6, 1951 – November 30, 2022

Wife of Pastor David L. Haase, Linda Deloris (Carr) Haase passed peacefully surrounded by family on November 30, 2022 at home.

Linda’s life began on January 10, 1951 at Mercy Hospital in Benton Harbor to the parents of Theodore Carr and Francis (Jerrell) Carr. She grew up in Watervliet and graduated in 1969 at Watervliet Public Schools. Linda passed peacefully surrounded by family on November 30, 2022 at home.

Linda had three children: William T. Ricketts, Tonya Kierstead, Theordore (Tana) Ricketts. On June 26, 1982 Linda married David L. Haase who brought three children into the marriage: Angela Haase, April (Nathon) Haase, Sarah (Dave Ott) Haase. Linda then became Mom to six children who refused to put the word Step in front of their sibling’s names. We called ourselves the Brady bunch. Linda prided herself with being a mother and grandmother and quickly became the matriarch of our family. She was the rock that held us together.

She is survived by her children, William, Tonya, Theodore, (Tana), Angela, April, Nathan, Sarah, Dave Ott. Her Grandchildren; Brooke, Shane, Katelyn, Brianna, Samantha, Nick, Casey, Brian, Briar, Courtney, Rayanna, Noah, Kristina, Kody, Alyssa, Kyle, Jesse. Great Grandchildren: Paisley, Charlotte, Spencer, Hayden, Rogan, Bentley, Liam. Aunt and Uncle: James and Ruth Ann Ricketts, cousins and multiple church families.

Preceded in death: Theodore and Francis Carr, James Carr, Jane Carr.

Memorials can be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 152, Riverside, MI 49084 or Townline United Methodist Church P.O. Box 373 Bloomingdale, Mi. 49026. You are invited to leave a message of comfort for Linda’s family online at www.hutchinsfuneral.com
