Wife of Rev. Richard L. Myers, Linda C. Myers died on May 7, 2024.

Predeceased by husband Rev. Richard Myers and parents Arnold and Betty Thomas. Survived by her brother Arnold Thomas, son Andrew Myers (Michaela TerAvest), and stepchildren Christopher Myers (Jennifer), Michele Crawford (William), Cheryl Nickolaou (James), and Kirk Myers.

She will also be missed by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends, and partner Bill LaClaire.

Linda was born in Detroit, MI and grew up in Pontiac, MI. She was a graduate of Pontiac Northern High School class of 1968 and earned her master’s degree in business from Walsh College. Linda began her career at AT&T as a Switchboard Operator, eventually leading to an engineering position. While living in Waterford, MI she met her husband, who was Associate Pastor at Central United Methodist Church. They later moved to Wyandotte, MI upon Richard’s transfer to Wyandotte First United Methodist Church. They eventually retired to Gaylord, MI where they enjoyed taking part in outdoor activities and quilting groups. Upon her husband’s passing, Linda moved to Byron Center, MI, where she met Bill’s companion during her final several years. She was involved with various charity organizations in her communities. Linda was an avid quilter and seamstress and enjoyed making clothing and beautiful quilts for members of her family. Linda touched many lives with her generosity, friendship, and love, and she will be dearly missed.
