Lorraine A. Lavengood (Marlette), 82, died Friday, February 24, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. James W. Lavengood July 2, 1986.
Rev. Lavengood served in the following appointments in the West Michigan Conference: (R-1957, D-1958, E-1959, F-1959). Lansing Bethel-Millett 1959; Homer 1962; Bellaire Sept. 15, 1965; Kalamazoo Lane Blvd Oct 15, 1969; Grand Rapids Second 1972. On honorable location 1984-1986.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church at 227 East Fulton St., Grand Rapids, MI. Interment was at Rosedale Memorial Park. Arrangements were handled by Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd. NW, Grand Rapids, MI.
