Meredyth J. Foltz, age 94, of Perrinton, MI died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Silas Foltz who died August 8, 1988.
Meredyth faithfully served alongside her husband Silas in his various appointments in the United Methodist Church as a pastor in the Rock River, Ill. Conference, the Detroit Conference and the West Michigan Conference at the Danville-Vantown UMC, Kingsley-Grant UMC and the Pompeii-Perrinton UMC, until retiring in 1974. Meredyth was an active member of the United Methodist Women, VFW Auxiliary, and the Rebekahs.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1 PM at the Maple Rapids United Methodist Church, 330 S. Maple Ave, Maple Rapids, MI 48853, with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating. Interment took place at Payne Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Meredyth’s memory to the Maple Rapids United Methodist Church.
