“You Are Not Alone: How to live your best and most authentic life”

September 22, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

“You Are Not Alone:  How to live your best and most authentic life”

You’re invited to a sharing and learning conversation with Rev. Pamela Pirtle, Senior Director of Leadership Development and Accountability for the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women and Rev. Dr. Shelly Brooks-Sanford, Church Wellness Programs and Outreach Manager for the Center for Health, General Board of Pension and Health Benefits of the United Methodist Church.

The conversation will focus on finding ways for women to live authentically true to themselves and to be whole again in this continued season of burnout and the litany of pressures to be managed.  The reality is that women continue to “juggle far more” in this season, so tools for wellness, meditation, self-care, and life balance will be shared, as well as an opportunity for participants to share and offer feedback and suggestions.  Rev. Pirtle will lead this conversation with a teaching partner from Rev. Dr. Brooks-Sandford.

Grab a second cup of coffee, take a deep breath, and give yourself the gift of this time.

Sponsored by the Commission on the Status and Role Division of the Michigan Conference Board of Justice
