Cane-holder Bernard Randolph dies

The Rev. Bernard Randolph, oldest Elder in the West Michigan Conference, joins the saints at 102.
The Rev. Bernard Randolph, died July 21, 2018, weeks after being recognized by the Michigan Annual Conference as the oldest living Elder in West Michigan.

His memorial service will be celebrated at Big Rapids First United Methodist Church on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 2 pm.

Randolph was ordained Full Elder in 1959. During his 30 years in ministry he served: Sanford-Averill (1948); Mt. Pleasant/Deerfield Center (1952); Hesperia/East Denver (1954); Big Rapids Circuit (1959); Houghton Lake Parish (1964); Wayland (1966); Benton Harbor: Grace (1970); Ludington: St. Paul (1971); Stanwood: Northland (1974); Whitehall/Claybanks (1975); Elk Rapids/ Kewadin (1976).
