Coverage of Over the Counter COVID Tests

Due to recent updates of Federal guidelines, you may purchase COVID-19 tests at little or no cost during the national public health emergency period.

Over the counter COVID tests will be covered by your prescription drug plan, provided by Medtipster. Medtipster will cover the tests as follows:

• $12 maximum per test
• 8 tests per member, per month maximum
• Doctor prescription is not required
• Plan members must seek reimbursement AFTER purchase with a receipt through the standard direct member reimbursement process, using the Direct Reimbursement Claim Form.

We recommend members purchase COVID-19 tests at a participating pharmacy.
