We are excited to announce the return of the Annual Conference Health Screening! Because of the pandemic, we had not held this in a few years, but it’s returning for the 2024 Annual Conference Session at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. It will be held from 8 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31.
This involves a venipuncture for a blood draw and includes a wide range of tests. You are encouraged to fast, but it is not required. The results will be reported to you online within a week. The Benefits Office has seen direct results from this because it often identifies issues early and allows people to seek treatment proactively. We encourage as many people to participate as possible!
In order to participate you need to be an active participant in our health insurance program. Registration ends on May 16, so register soon. You can schedule your appointment today. You will need to enter the registration key: michiganarea2024 and click the “Register Now” button and then fill in the remaining information. Your Unique ID is your Social Security number. If you run into any issues registering, please contact the Benefits Office.
Retirees may participate if we have space and will have to pay the fee to do so. It will cost $200. If you are a retiree and would like to have your health screening, please contact the Benefits Office.
