Michigan Conference staff are on the move in the coming week. Here’s your office “map.”
Michigan Conference Staff in a number of locations will be moving to new offices in the coming week.
Please note, there may be temporary disruptions of servers, telephones or email during this time period. We apologize for any inconvenience and expect to be operational on Friday, December 15, 2018.
December 6-12: Treasury and Benefits move to Lansing
Treasury and Benefits Staff will be moving from the Detroit Conference Office in Flint to their new location north of the Michigan Conference Center in Lansing. There will be no telephone service during this time.
The new location for Treasury and Benefits will be a part of the Michigan Conference Center North, 1161 East Clark Road, Suite 212, DeWitt MI 48820, inside Clark Corners. The office will be operational on Friday, December 15th. Treasury and Benefits will still be reached at the same telephone number 810-233-5500. You can also reach them by calling any local District or Conference Office and asking to be transferred. Detroit Annual Conference Program Staff will continue to operate out of the current Flint office location.
December 11-14: West Michigan Conference Office moves to downtown Grand Rapids
The West Michigan Conference Office at 11 West Fuller Avenue in Grand Rapids will close on December 11th.
The staff is scheduled to move on December 13th to Michigan Conference Center West, next door to Grand Rapids First UMC at First Place, 207 Fulton St E, Suite 6, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. The staff will be located on the third floor. The office will be operational on Friday, December 15th. The telephone number will remain the same 616-459-4503. You can also reach them by calling any local District or Conference Office and asking to be transferred.
Other moves
Michigan Area Camping now in St. Johns. Michigan Area UM Camping has moved to their new location in St. Johns – 2307 West Maple Rapids Road, St. Johns. They can be reached by calling 517-212-5442 or visit their website at UMcamping.org.
Michigan UM Foundation in new Grand Rapids Office
