Missionaries coming

Five missionaries are traveling from Africa to Michigan this fall. Hear their stories.

SHARON BURKART
WMC Secretary of Global Ministries

This fall West Michigan will have the opportunity to host several missionaries from Africa, featured in Lane 1 of our 6-Lanes book:

  • Rev. Nkemba & Mbwizu Ndjungu September 23 – October 6. The Ndungus serve in Cameroon.
  • Rev. Delbert & Sandy Groves, October 16 – November 22. Groves serve the New Life Center in Zambia.
  • Rev. Paul Webster, after Labor Day. Paul is an agriculturalist serving Mujila Falls Centre in Zambia. He is traveling with his assistant, Silvester.

West Michigan has been generous in supporting missionaries around the world. This fall congregations have the opportunity to extend hospitality by inviting these missionaries to eat a meal and enjoy fellowship while they share their stories. To do so provides a first-hand experience of what being in mission is doing to change the world.

Christ called his followers to actively spread God’s words and love and to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Our missionaries are fulfilling what Mark says in 16:15: He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

Those interested in hosting a visit with the Ndjungus, Groves or Paul and Silvester, should please contact your Conference Secretary of Global Ministries, Sharon Burkart at [email protected] or 269-967-0301. Or contact your District Mission Secretary or District Office.
