Draw your 2018 mission plan with the help of the Spotlight Church and Six Lanes of Advance guidebooks.
For years United Methodists in Michigan have been strong in their support of mission. In the Detroit Conference, the Spotlight Church Book has encouraged broad support from local to global. The Six Lanes of the Advance has helped West Michigan churches reach out to their neighbors.
New editions of both guidebooks are now available to mission leaders as they plan generous support for mission in 2018.

Detroit Conference churches may also use this form to report their 2017 Spotlight giving. Please return the forms by January 15, 2018.
The Spotlight and Six Lanes models will remain in place for 2018. On January 1, 2019 the new Michigan Conference will launch a new model for mission support: “Engage: Learn. Give. Act.”
This model builds on the unique strengths of both the Spotlight and Six Lanes to encourage comprehensive mission giving but will also challenge congregations to engage in comprehensive missional learning and action. “Engage” will move congregations from transactional “ministry to” to relational “ministry with.”
