Rev. Charles William (Bill) Martin, 92, died in Clare, Michigan on June 3, 2017.
Rev. Bill served in the following churches in the West Michigan Conference: Newaygo 1951; Sanford 1956; Hartford 1960; Edmore Faith 1965; Middleville / Hastings Welcome Corners 1969; Clare 1973; Wyoming Park 1979; and South Haven 1984. He retired in 1989.
He enjoyed fishing, long-time friendships, working in the elementary school, Crop Walks, reviving his love of art, painting with watercolors, and doing visitations for the Shelby United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, | Grand Rapids (Kentwood), MI 49508 on Tuesday, June 6 from 6-9 pm and St. Paul’s UMC, 3334 Breton Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512 on Wednesday, June 7 from 10-11 am.
Services will be at St. Paul’s on Wednesday, June 7 at 11am.
