Linda H. Selberg

July 15, 1952 – June 17, 2022

Wife of Pastor Robert L. Selberg, Linda Harper Selberg passed away on June 17, 2022 after a hard-fought battle with leukemia. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Robert L. Selberg (retired elder). Devoted mother of Kristen (Matthew) Pazur, Carly Szajnecki, Kellyn Szajnecki, and Mallory Szajnecki. Proud grandmother of Leighton, Hudson, Madison, and Ellison. Dear sister of Elizabeth Bellore, Thomas Buis, and the late Allyn Harper Sr. Linda is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Linda retired as a special education director and counselor from Henry Ford Academy. She loved to read, sew, and garden and was a loyal Detroit Tigers fan. She was also a parishioner of First United Methodist Church of Dearborn.  Above all, her devotion was to her family. The words used to describe Linda by those who knew her best were kind, patient, loving, and selfless. She faced her illness with dignity and perseverance, focused on recovering for her family until the last days. She passed in her own home with her family at her side.

A memorial service was held at First United Methodist Church of Dearborn. Online condolences can be left at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.
