Kenneth Halter We extend our condolences to the family and friends of Kenneth Halter, former Detroit Conference Lay Leader, who died on March 25, 2019 at the age of 88. Kenneth was a member of Grand Blanc Methodist Church where he served as a lay preacher. He also was Detroit Conference Lay Leader, involved in the Flint and Crossroads District committees, president of the Flint Jaycee’s, life member of the Flint Masonic Lodge, life member of the Flint Rotary where he received the Paul Harris Fellow Award, and member of Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce. He served as president on both the Buick Retirees and Flint Men’s Retirees. He also served as an Army M.P. in the Korean War. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 4pm-8pm at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 1pm with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Grand Blanc United Methodist Church, 515 Bush Ave, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Condolences may be sent to Kenneth’s wife, Mrs. Joyce Halter at 5185 Candelwood Dr., Grand Blanc, MI 48439.
