As Nancy Wyllys and Becky Emmert leave the Conference Treasury, it’s time to introduce two new staff persons who are there to meet your needs.

The Administrative Services Team of The Michigan  Conference is pleased to introduce Kriss Salters [email protected] and Kim Kemmis, [email protected] as the newest additions to the Conference staff.

Kriss, from Gregory, Michigan, is serving as the Treasury Administrative Assistant. Kriss is a Central Michigan University graduate and she loves winters in Michigan.

Kim is responsible for Accounts Payable. She lives in Ithaca, Michigan where she was born and raised.  Kim enjoys playing golf and is an avid college sports and baseball fan.

The Conference welcomes these two new staff members and expresses thanks and appreciation for the outstanding tenure of Becky Emmert. Future communications for the Treasurer’s Office should be directed to David Dobbs or Kriss Salters.

Kim and Kriss will both work out of Conference Center North, 1161 East Clark Road, Suite 212, DeWitt, MI 48820, 517-347-4030. Kriss answers at ext. 4138 and Kim at ext. 4132.

In other developments in the Finance Office, there’s now a new online payment option for every church in the Michigan Conference. This website will make payment easier but will also allow churches to see their payment history for Ministry Shares and Special Giving through the Treasurer’s Office.

Access to this new website will require each church to set up an account with an email and a password through the Treasurer’s Office. Churches that have already been using the online giving site previously do not need to sign up again.

Zoom training classes (10 people per session) are being offered to sign up and provide training needed to utilize the website.  There will also be question-and-answer time at the close of the training session. Click here for more about the Zoom training.
