Workshop: Launching and Maintaining Community Ministry

Is your church thinking about responding to needs in your community? Is your church already offering a ministry and looking to strengthen it?
Join Lisa Batten of the Michigan Conference Connectional Ministry staff and Rev. LuAnne Stanley Hook, a clergy team member at Holland First UMC, for a practical workshop on launching and maintaining ministry in your community.
You will learn how to:
- Find community partners
- Create partnership agreements with clients
- Provide hospitality and security for ministry housed in your church
- Take tangible next steps to start or expand ministry that is relational and fruitful
