A free one-day seminar on church safety and security will be held Sept. 22 at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Caledonia, MI.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office and West Michigan Church Security Network will be at the main campus of Cornerstone UMC, 1675 84th Street, SE, Caledonia, on Saturday, September 22, 8am – 3pm.
The event is free and is open to individuals who are involved in maintaining security at their places of worship. Lunch will be provided.
Topics include:
- Creating and maintaining a Security Team
- Nursery Security
- Introduction to Tactical Medicine
- Conflict De-escalation
