Bishop David Bard announces the leadership and staff of the new Michigan Conference.

LANSING | February 20, 2018 — Today, Bishop David Bard announced the selections of the Associate Directors, Coordinators, and Administrative Staff for the new Michigan Conference.

In making today’s announcement the bishop said, “I am deeply appreciative of the wonderfully talented and dedicated people who have offered themselves to serve our new conference. I am energized and excited at the possibilities of what this excellent team can accomplish here in Michigan.” Bishop Bard added, “As we celebrate this new structure, I am also aware this will be a time of transition for some and I hold all of you in my prayers.”

This team of persons will, with the churches and disciples of The Michigan Conference, help move the vision forward … The Michigan Conference will equip and connect through: Christ Centered Mission and Ministry; Bold Effective Leaders; and Vital Congregations.

This now completes the selection process of leaders, with one exception. The Associate Director of Multicultural Vibrancy position is still open and will be filled in March.

Leadership transitions are now underway, to be completed no later than July 1, 2018.
