Camping introduces new logos

A lot of history and a wide open future … Michigan camp sites welcome you.

Michigan Area United Methodist Camping has a diverse offering of summer camps, retreat centers and family-oriented campgrounds. While the non-profit that runs nine Christian camping ministry sites is about 18 months old, most of the facilities have been in use for decades – one for over 150 years.

At the heart of each is the shared mission to change lives and make disciples of Jesus Christ. Something special happens when we meet God out in creation. When we share a meal with other seekers and explore the mysteries of life and faith together. When we paddle a canoe, try a new game, or go swimming together, at camp we are accepted and blessed by our shared experiences. The ground becomes more sacred as we pray, worship and seek together.

With all this history and a wide open future, we have much to be excited about. To better illustrate our Michigan Area United Methodist Camping family, we’ve spent the winter freshening up five of our site logos (the rest will be worked on over the next few months). We hope you love the results. Click on each logo to explore each camp’s home page and learn more.
