Mary Ernestine Bintz, 88, died Sunday, January 22, 2017 at The Prestige Centre in Mt. Pleasant, MI. She was predeceased by her husband Rev. Neil F. Blintz in 1982.
Rev. Bintz served in the following appointments in the West Michigan Conference: Jonesville 1951, Blairstown, N.J. 1954, Montague 1958, Grand Rapids Burton Heights 1965, Mount Pleasant First 1970, Lansing Central 1978, and Battle Creek 1982.
Funeral services for Ernestine will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. from the Rowley Funeral Home, 330 S University Ave, Mt. Pleasant, MI, with Rev. Diane Gordon of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
The family will greet friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or the Prestige Centre.
