Adjusting to life in a church

An update on the Rranxburgaj family after four weeks living inside Detroit: Central UMC.

After 17 years living in the U.S. Ded Rranxburgaj, a husband with two sons, took refuge in Detroit: Central United Methodist Church as Immigration Services threatened him with deportation.

Wife Flora has Multiple sclerosis and Ded provides loving care. They have not left the building since January 16. Students Lawrence and Eric have attended classes and purchased food for the family but also endure a “new normal.”
